Student Center East is about a block south of the UIC/Halsted stop on the Blue Line. Once at UIC/Halsted, take the eastward ramp off the platform to Halsted, turn right and cross Harrison. The SCE doors are on your right midway down that block, and quite hard to miss.

Getting There: Southbound

From the north heading south, take 90/94 East and exit onto Taylor Street going west.

Getting There: Eastbound

Take I-290 East to Racine Avenue, turn right (south), left at Harrison and right on Halsted.

Parking

Your best location for parking is UIC's Taylor Street garage, located on Taylor just east of Halsted. For those taking 90/94, you'll pass the garage almost as soon as you exit the highway. Parking on Friday nights is $6.25, flat rate. There is also parking on various and sundry side streets, including Des Plaines, across the 90/94, Van Buren to the north across the 290, and down Halsted toward Roosevelt Road. This is mostly metered parking that's free after a certain hour, but is a bit of a walk from the site itself.
